On Friday evening we welcomed three new camels to Team Ships, joining us from the Northern Territory. After their big journey to Broome, WA, they have been settling in well with our family. Spending their lives in Central Australia, they had not seen the beach before so were very interested on their first days of work!
RODNEY-
Rodney is the youngest of the new camels at 15 years of age. He has been working at Uluru Camel Tours in Ayers Rock!
He has also competed in several Camel Cups in Alice Springs.
BAZZA-
Bazza is now the biggest camel in the Ships family, taking over the title from Olly!
A gentle giant, Bazza is a fantastic free-reining camel and has won places in the Camel Cup in Alice Springs.
He has spent his life working on the Todd River and at Uluru Camel Tours.
FELIX-
Felix is the big teddy bear of the new camels and loves lots and lots of attention. White in colour, he is around 25 years of age.
He has also worked with Baz along the Todd River and then at Uluru.
Welcome Felix!
